With all the exciting challenges of life offshore who wouldn’t want to make a documentary about the North Sea’s oil and gas industry?
 
When Force Ten Productions heard that AGR was drilling their 400th well, they requested to film the process from the start of planning to drilling of the exploration well.  AGR, with cooperation of Dolphin AS, Det norske oljeselskap and Halliburton, granted Force Ten unprecedented access. The film team followed the Skardkollen operation from beginning to end.
 
The production team had originally approached AGR with the view of including them in their TV series, “Trawlers, Rigs and Rescue,” however when they heard that the company was preparing to drill its 400th well, the opportunity to do something much bigger was too good to pass up. Force Ten Productions instead created a standalone 30 minute documentary.   Working closely with AGR, and the other companies, the film crew spent more than 2 weeks on board the Bredford Dolphin filming the offshore and onshore teams as they explored the depths of the North Sea.
